I have been struggling to find a way to view restricted sites at work for the last few months. At first proxies were great, but they would always wind up getting blocked. My main source of guilty pleasure at work is youtube. . . however it is blocked! I found a nifty way to get around the content filtering. My work allows google search for you tube videos, I find one I like and then I go to this site that lets you download and save videos from myspace, youtube, and a few others. Its not as great as going to youtube, but hey at least I get to keep the videos

It’s worked for me for ages the I.T. technitions don’t seem to be blocking it!

A little pointer for you is keep your proxy a secret when loads of people find out about it and use it they HAVE to block it but if one or two people use it, IT might go undetected for a while!

it was loading then got blocked by the websense system dam that filtering system but those uncatergarized sites almost worked if u could get now ones made daily then tht would bypass the system (this is wat ive read or heard) good luck with your surfing ive been with no myspace or games or videos online for over 2 months my sites ive used have all been blocked please help thank you

As an IT person for a high school I find it interesting to read the postings here, especially as I am the guy who blocks things. Some of your postings are really lame, and I am sure to see some more in response to this. Can someone give me some well thought out arguments as to why I should allow myspace? If you can present a good argument for allowing myspace with a few regulations and support it in a well thought out and clear manner you may find that you can change things at your school.

Seriously, forget rage against the machine give me some good reasons to allow myspace and tell me some rules that you would would self impose.

The reason you should allow myspace is because I dont know of anybody at my school in San Angelo Tx that does anything bad on myspace i have a myspace so i can keep up with my family that live in North Dakota and some of my friend from Belton Tx. I am also in a computer class and on our free time we are allowed to play on the computer and we dont have anythig to do so I try to find proxies so i can get on my myspace I mainly do it because im bored and plus if theres anything bad on myspace we can report it. If myspace was unblocked at my school then some rules i would enforse is that you can block it at anytime I dont know if that answers your questions but I do hope that it did!!!

Personally i’m not into myspace all that much I just want the proxy’s to get onto http://www.msn.co.uk so I can read my email’s.

Ok sure it’s probably a policy at school to have restricted sites but i’m sure at times the students have their free time you could unblock it for a certain amount of time.

You see I have spoken to the headmaster and I.T. technitions but the minority have spoiled it for the rest of us which is a bit unfair.

So this is why us the students are getting on YOUR nerves with proxys! Another big problem is we aren’t respected enough as young adults, which is where all the rage and frustration comes from.

Now I do know people who have moved over here from a different country and the only way they can keep in contact is phone (really expensive) or internet (which they can only use in school) yes very few people are in this situation but lot’s of things have been overlooked in our schools!

So in conclusion to this everybody should be allowed on what they want when it’s appropriate but if we abused that trust ok fair enough we’ll get punished but to not even have the chance to prove we’re responsible is a bit frustrating don’t you think!

We’ll here’s my explanation!

the best way i seen to do it is to download Aol software onto the computer then log on to aol with the broadband connection so when u r on aol it bypasses ur schools server and uses aol so u can go to any site u want to…ingenious huh? lol every1 in my school loves me for it lol so try that it really works

ok so i can get onto SOME of these proxies but not alot of them. the only bad thing is that my school is so “high tech” apparently that you if you type in myspace.com or http://www.myspace.com into the proxy sites it still gets blocked. we used www8.sneakthrough.com for a while here till one of the kids got busted on it. hell my whole computer class used to use it and go onto myspace or game sites after we finished out assignments. if you guys can figure one out that isnt still blocked let me know.

from a hackers point of view I would insert a linux livecd into the cd/dvd rom drive and reboot into linux. After that it’s your operating system, nothing is blocked and you have full control. Don’t use one with hacking tools preinstalled you’ll just either break the computer or get yourself in trouble. Use something like damn small or ubuntu. I say this because if your willing to take the time to read and learn how to do this then you probably have what it takes to do good in school anyway.

I was a computer teacher up until this past school year at an inner city middle school. No matter what the county school system threw up to block proxy websites, there was another to take it’s place. I gave up in the beginning of May reporting them.

The reason proxies arent working is because they watch for websites with proxy in them and simply seek and destory shall we say, and the proxy is no more. I have the stuff you need. I am SOOOOO sick of looking for new proxies. MAYBE getting them to work only to have them blocked AGAIN! WTF.

What if I could create my OWN proxy? …and have it under a DHCP, changing IP? What if I had many, many friends that did the same. What if they had friends that did the same? We could all use each others right… ??

What if you did not even have to install an app. You could just run a program to setup a stealth like tunnel? Where the packets are encrypted etc.. Sounds good right?

I need a proxy or what ever it is that is listed up proxy avoidance. Do you know what I’m saying. Every one of these that I entered doesn’t give me access and they all say proxy avoidance. So i’m assuming my work has blocked all websites that are listed under proxy avoidance. your all stupid,
all you simply do is go to note pad
type in “command.com”
go to file then click save as
then write surpass.bat
once you have done this,
go into your my documents folder until you get to
“surpass.bat”
click on it
then type “tracert http://www.myspace.com
click enter
then some text and number will appear.
there will be a ip adress that you will need.
example: 208.65.153.253
write the number down on a piece of paper or highlight and copy it then simply paste the ip adress that you get in your web browser

and you can message people
you can’t reply to a message or post comments or approve requests
and when you want to go to your homepage you have to keep clicking “back” cuz if you click “home” it’ll take you to the myspace home page

People.. Want to get on Myspace at school? STOP USING PROXIES. The school automatically can sense if that site is a proxy, which is why almost ALL proxie sites are blocked. The only ones not are the newest ones and that only lasts for about 2 days. As soon as a new hacking site hits the computer, cyber realm, the school’s system picks it up and blocks it.

Even MORE important is that, if you type in the google bar or whatever, “get on myspace at school” or “new free proxies”, the school tracks those certain words, Myspace, Bebo, etc and automatically blocks almost EVERY site under that subject. Chose your words wisely, and give up on the ******** proxies.

of coz all proxy don’t work, filter pick this website fast because too many people accesing this website and filter will notice that. (too many request obviusly and bandwidth suddenly skyrocket?? 5 year old will notice that) to be honest proxy website only last 2-3 days
All you need to do is make your own proxy website and dont tell anyone about it. That way your proxy website can last longer or you can signup to any proxy newsletter to receive daily proxy list. Filter will still block it but you get daily list everday Anyway you can always try this one: http://www.mathisfun.co.cc

- I think by the time you try this it already block so dont forget to signup for the newsletter for fresh proxy not advertise anywhere

I’ve tried everything on here it blocked everything
I hate this!
I havn’t tried to access myspace from school, with these, so I’ll try. But I’m at my apartments office computer and I swear to god. No freedom. I misssssss personal internet:[

Currently i use https://foreverunblocked.info from pagemod.com proxies.They have both CGI and PHP proxies in them.
Very Reputable,SSL enabled, does provide new domains by just sending a mail to pagemod@gmail.com

I have used many proxy sites over the years be it PHP CGI glype watever,
Nowadays none seem to bypass the ever strong filters{ websense, K9 , bess},
some things one should observe when looking for a proxy site:

-Shouldn’t be a .info { filters by default block them coz most are proxy sites}
-Shouldnt contain the words proxy or others like myspace,orkut,bebo in it. { they keyword filter those}
-On the safe side should be a SSL encrypted ones {https sites filter find them difficult to scan}
-Should be a reputable provider and provide fresh domains update {So that proxy owners dont steal our information,
face the fact domains will get blocked eventually, so its necessary to provide new ones.}
-I would recommend CGI proxy , even if they are time consuming they give the desired results.

i usually use browse007.com
but atm its down, if u want to use it u have to
google browse007, then click the link
if u type it in it will be blocked.

Okay, I have tried and tried to get on myspace at school. Every single website is BLOCKED.> Even if u type ‘myspace’ in a google search bar, it comes up that its blocked. Somebody needs 2 get make a NEW CODE I get so sick of them blocking myspace. Its not like we’re selling drugs are something. ugh. I can’t even get on my Yahoo email account. Its stupid.

Hey. I get on myspace everyday at school and i know what a pain these proxy blockers are so here are they recently blocked at my school but hopefully still work for you….

yea most of these websites work u guys are just putting it in the wrong way
u guys put it in by using http://www.
well ur supposed to do https://www.
then w/e proxy u want to use then it should work
